Ki-Gong; Ki is the Energy that is in all things including Air and Gong means study, this is a study
concentrating on awakening your Body & mind’s potential power and learning to use it
effectively.  I will try to explain the History of Ki-Gong and how to collect Ki from air or mother
earth, understand Ki and how to use Ki to protect your self and enhance your life in many ways,
and finally the Myth or higher form of Awakening & using Minds Ki to reach Enlightenment.

HISTORY:  Around 1200BC the Great King of the East, and the chosen leader of the Tiger Tribe
Kang Tae-Gong opened the first school for Ki-Gong, and taught the art to the common people, he
wanted the future leaders that will not dwell on earthly things, he wanted leaders with awakened
mind, leaders that will not be persuaded by Evil & Greed, and will look forward to a higher form of
life (Enlightenment leading to the higher Heavens).
Ki-Gong is a way of strengthening one’s Mind & Spirit through Meditation (feeling the energy’s
movement within your body and strengthening the connection to your Mind, Enlightenment of
your self, understanding your Body & Spirit (like the nerve system that connects your Mind to the
Body) and awakening the Soul (gift from god that has a will to fulfill its Destiny and want to go
back to God where they originated from, the Soul is the everlasting life form with will to live, love
and do good).

Lately due to Human,s greed the Mother Earth’s Energy is getting weaker and we are having
harder time breathing (less trees = less clean air & water) and in result our children are suffering
more and more.  We can only hope that our Soul stays pure with the help of a strong Spirit.

Ki is the Energy of the 5 elements that keeps Mother Earth alive. 1) Fire or light that
comes from God the Supreme Creator and the 2) Water; the life energy from Divine Mother God
working together to keep the 3) plants and trees growing that produces breathable Air 4) All living
and working Humans, Animals, Birds, Fishes even down to the always hard working Ants &
Bees.  We should always remember the 5) Earth (rock, dirt, sand, dust, the basic element that was
used by God to Create all things “all that comes from earth shall stay on earth, but all things that
comes from the Heavens should go back to the Heaven when the time comes.

COLLECTING KI;  As soon as you are born into this world you are doing Ki-Gong, as you
breathe in you are taking in Energy that keeps you alive for one breath, and as you breathe out
you feel empty and tired.  Ki-Gong is learning to breathe; not just breathe but breathe correctly
and learn to use the power that is around you from the Heaven to Earth, mostly it’s a study of
breathing in, holding the breath for a period of time, and exhaling with control.
Breathing in slowly and exhaling slowly relaxes your body and is mostly used for meditation
purposes similar to Yoga.  Breathing in fast, moving your body while holding the breath in and
letting it all out with bursting energy upon your enemy is similar to Marshall Art.  Let’s look at the
difference between a Sumo Wrestler and a Boxer, the Sumo Wrestler will hold his breath until he
is ready to explode into his opponent with one big earth shattering hit and he pushes his
opponent out of the ring while his opponent is still dazed from the initial crash or impact, but a
Boxer usually breaks down his breath into several Jabs & still leaves some air or Energy left for
the big Hook or the Finish Punch.
Ki-Gong is Art of Breathing to collect energy and absorbing that Energy into your body
permanently, when your Ki (level of Energy) gets to higher level you can see better, you stay
younger looking and should live longer and healthier.
1) learning how to collect that energy inside your body; the area below your belly-button that gets
hard when you hold your breath and suck in your hip is your natural battery or let’s say the
container where you can store Ki=inner energy.  Open your legs about shoulder width, breathe in
and hold the breath while sucking the hip inward, repeat the basic breathing and holding the
breath but don’t forget to tighten your buttock or the energy will leak out the rear and result in
hemorrhoid, which can cause serious set-back.  It’s very hard to compact energy and transfer
compacted energy throughout your body when you have a permanent leak, so always remember
to exercise even when you are standing around or sitting to suck in and tighten that rear).
2) Once you get used to the basic exercise of collecting Ki through controlled breathing, next
step is to transfer Ki or energy to your lower half of the body and permanently strengthen your
foundation (your waist down to the legs that support you and carry you, the God given basic
transportation you were born with).  Learning how to direct energy to your legs is rather simple;
first open your legs shoulder width, try to keep both feet parallel to each other, bend your knees
about 45 degrees, try to keep your back straight, this is considered the Horse Stand since it
resembles sitting on a horse, do the breathing exercise in this position for at least 15 minutes at a
time, people who can do it longer will get faster results sooner.
Men should do it in the morning, best time is at Sunrise facing the Sun since men are believed to
be the son’s of the Sun God.  Men and Women can do Ki-Gong safely in the evening or during
Sun-set, and Women will gain most when they do Ki-Gong under the Moon since women are
thought to be the daughters of the Moon Goddess.
Women doing Ki-Gong under the full moon were thought to be witches or Shamans seeking
unnatural or supernatural powers and were outlawed, hunted and killed by many narrow minded
King’s through out the Eastern Asian history and also in some Western parts (the Western
European people are believed to be Bird People, there for it is easy to understand that when the
White Women practice Ki-Gong it would be easier for them to do thing like Flying in the air under
the Full Moon).
Step up the Ki-Gong exercise slowly, you should remember that patience is a virtue when you are
learning Ki-Gong, there is no fast elevators to take you to the top level just by pushing the right
button, try lowering your body while holding the breath=breathe in, hold your breath, suck your
hip in and hold it in, bend your knees as if you are sitting down on a chair, get back into standing
position, and then breathe out slowly, repeat the same exercise, slowly speed it up by doing 2
crunches at a single breath, and then 3-4-5 and on up to as many as you can with control and
without feeling pain.
Next step is to shift your weight from one side to the other as if you are walking heavy, many
people start putting sand bags on their body parts (arms & legs) to increase or accelerate to
higher level faster at about this time.  This exercise will make you walk or run faster and longer
without getting tired so easily.
3) If you feel that your lower body has now been strengthened and full of energy, it’s time to wake
up your upper body, repeat the same exercise only this time step it up by using the upper body
too; from standing position raise your arms and stretch up and outward like you are opening
your body to the maximum point while breathing in slowly and deeply, hold your breath, suck in
your hip, make a hard fist, bend and shrink into a ball like figure, keep holding the breath and if
you feel your back bone beginning to breathe this will be the time of awakening for your body,
you can jump into a pool or a tub of water and repeat the exercise while submerged in water, if
you see bubbles coming out of your back bone around your waist, you have now learned how to
capture energy and transfer or direct your energy to place that needs it the most for best use, like
pushing contaminated foreign materials out of your body.
Learning to direct energy to your hand is a higher form closer to a form of Marshall Arts.  Now get
into a Horse Stand position, breathe in and hold your breath, raise your arms straight forward at
shoulder height, as you breathe in bring your arms inward slowly and as you exhale push your
arms forward as if you are pushing someone away from you, as you get better put more power &
speed into it, like breathe in faster while grabbing and pulling in with your arms and burst out with
all your strength (exhale half or third of your breath while pushing or hitting something like a
punching bag), always exercise with controlled strength and patience.
Now once again you should test or measure your achievement simply by putting your hand or
foot in the water and without moving your body collect energy in your stomach and push it into
your hand and see if there are small air bubbles coming out of the center of your open palm or
foot (there are energy openings in the center of your feet and hands, when developed fully can be
a great help in achieving Higher Ki-Gong Studies). “This is like bleeding your car’s brake lines of
contaminated brake fluid that has bubbles that can cause braking problems due to compression
loss due from bubbles inside the brake fluid”.
I think that should cover the basics on collecting & transferring Ki Energy.  Before you get bored,
let’s jump into actually learning to use the Ki-Gong to defend yourself.

FIND YOURSELF;  We are born under certain signs according to the year we were born and the
time or the hour we were born under, understanding who you are can help in determining what
your strong points are, and you can concentrate on the Ki energy that best fits your needs.
If you just want to practice Ki-Gong to look younger, stay healthier and perhaps live a longer life,
one should practice only the slow & peaceful Ki-Gong (breathe in slow in the position that you
are comfortable in, hold the breath for a short time, breathe out very slowly through your nose
and you will become a slower person and live a slower and longer life.
But if you are someone who is learning Ki-Gong to help you defend your self against offenders,
then you need to practice faster breathing Ki-Gong mixed with offensive movements, and you
should be able to get a lot more out of this book, and with an open mind anything is possible.

Believe it or not identifying these signs can be very important when you want to use the Ki-Gong’
s Energy in Marshall Art form since each animal has their own character or talents that can help
you achieve defensive or offensive form of using your body more effectively.
First step of converting all that potential Energy you have collected by doing Ki-Gong exercise is
to know your assets or physical talents, like are you better at using hand or legs, are you
naturally  a power (mostly Men) or speed & accuracy (Mostly Women) oriented person or do you
have certain mental or physical disabilities (sometimes disabilities can act as an element of
surprise that can upset the outcome like no one has ever expected), understanding your assets
and finding your natural talents will be the challenge or hurdle you should overcome, as soon as
your mind decides to use Ki-Gong as a form of Defense, your body will tighten up and move away
from the danger and probably just simply run away from danger (this is the last Art of the 36
forms of Marshall Art that you can learn), but sometimes you are put into a situation where you
have no way out or have loved ones that you must protect who are still in danger, and that is why
you learn how to use Ki-Gong’s energy effectively to defeat your enemy and that’s the next step
after you have identified your strong or best assets.
Remember breathe in; bring your self to the most calm state of mind and body, hold the energy
(like the calm before the storm), and unleash the Tiger inside you with the most lethal move that
you have practiced over and over again to a point that its as natural as walking or grabbing a
spoon or fork to eat.
You take one breath away from the offender and you can kill your enemy or they can take your
breath away and you die, it always comes down to who is faster and more accurate, who gets
there first and how effective was your move.
If you are a Women being attacked by an aggressive Man, I say kick him in the groins where it
hurts the most or better yet
knee him in the place where it hurts the most, “there is no fair fight
when a stronger male is attacking a weaker female”.
Go out and buy a punching bag, hang it about 30-36inch off the floor and practice kicking and
kneeing it up (you might be surprised at how strong and powerful your knee is since it has been
carrying your weight for most of your life, your knee is at least 10 times stronger than your hand),
after a few month of actually hitting punching bags your body will get used to kicking or kneeing
and when you need to use the move or hit someone in the groin it will come out almost without
thinking and hopefully accurately to save your life or your loved ones, but remember to use the
power of Ki-Gong and you will be surprised at your calmness and the power that you unleash on
your offender, “its all in your mind, one that can better control their mind will have control over
the situation”.

USING KI:  When your mind is pure, one is able to kill the Evil inside the bad man without even
moving (probably just talking some sense into the man and having him throw away the Evil inside
him), and that is the highest form of Ki-Gong Marshall Art known, but in the real world where Guns
& Knives are being pointed at you and you barely have time to react, I don’t think many people
have much choice but to use the most effective method that they know how to use or have
practiced enough so that move comes out naturally (fast & accurate) to fend off the offender, and
here are some easy to use Example, +Identifying weak points to attack with the strong parts of
your body.  Knowing how to stay calm and taking control of the situation with authority is using
Ki-Gong the right way.

F=MA Force=Mass x Acceleration, the impact your offender will feel depends a lot on the
Mass (Fist, Elbow, Foot, Knee, Head = weapon of your choice times the Speed you can generate
at the point of impact), more important is accuracy achieved by repeated practice & training.
This is where you learn about the weak points in Human Body; learn how to attack effectively
using your body parts or using things that you carry with you everyday.
Understanding your enemy’s weakness and attack with your strong assets and use the element
of surprise to your advantage. One can even stop the offender just by screaming very loud since
many women have very high pitch voice and can be heard from far away.  Lately I hear people
say “when you are being attacked scream Fire instead of screaming for help, because people’s
hearts are cold and they don’t want to get themselves involved in anything that does not have
any gain”, but if you screamed fire; you are lying and you are calling the wrong crowd who are
not ready to help anybody but themselves, if you screamed “Help” there will be at least few good
people coming to help you and they will bring some type of weapons to bring down the Evil
assailant, because sending out the right message will get you the right kind of help, at the very
least there will be someone calling the Law Enforcement to report the incident.
But the best method is to be ready 1) learn how to protect your self  2) avoid dangerous area  3)
travel in groups (2 is good but 3 is better)  4) carry a weapon (carry a steel ball pen; can be a very
effective defensive tool when used right)  5) control your breath; stay calm, pretend to be scared
while you are collecting energy for one powerful attack.  Here are some pointers that I hope many
people can remember to use when you have to take action.

The weakest point for men is his groin, and the strongest weapon you have is your knees, so hit
him with your knees, bring your knees straight up between his legs, most of the people can’t
even see the knee coming up until its too late (works best when they are at close range).  If you
are a man and don’t feel like kicking someone in the balls, then you should go for the side rib
cage, works better if you grab part of your opponent so he can’t move away.
Another weak point in Human body is their Nose, take in a breathe and launch your head into
your opponents face, your body movement should resemble a C clamp that is being closed,
speed and accuracy is always the key to a successful finish, most likely you will hit his nose and
he will have hard time breathing if not knocked out, either way the one that has difficulty
breathing does not have much power to attack you anymore.
Another weak part of your opponent is his neck, you can hit his Adams apple with your fist or any
part of his neck with your elbow depending on the distance between you and your assailant,
when using part of your upper body as a weapon,
the real strength and speed comes from
turning your waist,
practice turning side to side motion while holding both hands together
(breathe in, hold the ground with your lower body, twist your upper body to gain speed and
shove your elbow into his neck, the Adam’s Apple should be the mark since that is part that will
hurt the most)
If he is holding you on the ground already, and you really can’t use your knees, elbow, or your
head. Take your well manicured finger and simply poke his Eyes, once you take his eye sight and
then you cup your hand and slap his ears so he can’t hear either.  Be careful not to shove your
finger into his eyes too much, his Brain is not even 2inches behind his eye balls and you could
turn him into a permanent vegetable.  If you have really practiced Ki-Gong everyday, your Energy
level should be high and your moves should be Strong & Accurate, so practice, practice, practice,
because practice makes perfect.
If someone grabs you from behind 1) quickly take in as much breath as possible (if he chocks
you, all that is left is that one breath you just took in)  2) shrink up into a C clamp position (your
neck will get farther from the attacker, and your back can feel which side rib cage to attack)  3)
cup both hand together and hit his ribs with your elbow (turn your shoulder and body side to side
with the elbows on your side, once you make the contact increase the speed and hit harder on
the same spot again & again until the job is done.  The floating ribs (2 bottom ribs) break very
easily and broken ribs are very painful.  He will have hard time just breathing, you should have no
trouble shaking him off, since he won’t have any power.  And most men who attack women are
weak men, real men don’t do shameful things like attacking women, instead they take pride in
protecting women like their DNA is designed to do.

Don’t go out to places that draw trouble, travel in groups. Love your self enough to take care of
your self a little better, because there are lot’s of people who loves you.

BASIC EXERCISE:  Running will increase your speed, jumping exercise is good, even dancing
will give you better balance, but remember one thing control your breath and you can be like a
calm water most of the time to live healthier & longer, but can turn into a raging Tiger in an instant
ready to conquer anything that is standing in your way.  It’s all in the breathing, and how much Ki
you have stored inside you.
If you are like a Cell phone low on battery, it’s hard to make the connection and it might get cut-off
at any moment without notice.  But if you consistently practice Ki-Gong, you will be full of Ki
Energy, your natural reaction will be faster, you will hopefully be & stay more controlled of the
situation, and when you make the contact it will hurt your opponent more.
Remember it’s all in your mind; knowledge is power, even a 100 pound girl can kill a 500 pound
Sumo Wrestler with a straw injected through the eye, nose, or ears.  Imagine you holding a pen in
your hand, you can write a poem or you can stab someone with a pen.  Size does matter, but
speed & accuracy matters more, when it all comes down to it the will of the mind is the big
decision maker that makes the decision to kill or not.
Remember the Ninja’s tactics (the Ninja attacks when their Enemy is sleeping, and everybody
goes to sleep).  Sometimes I hear of women who have been kidnapped, they were in captivity for
years, and they rarely escape.  Let me tell you one thing, you are as strong as your mind wants to
be, love yourself and defend your self, that is your God given right.
